About Us

We are Sue Raynor and Lucy Smith, a Mother Daughter team originally from Suffolk, England.

After seeing a gap in the market last year, between us we started The English Garden! Sue has always had flowers in her garden and loves to do arrangements in vases and I have always loved having flowers at home, wrapping pretty things, and now creating beautiful bouquets knowing they are going to bring a smile to someone. We’ve found our passion!

We are focused on sourcing as much as we can locally, we buy our flowers from the local growers and markets and use what is in season. That's why you won't find any specific bouquets, they are all our Florist Picks!

Our giftware is proudly New Zealand Made or designed here and made ethically overseas. We are choosing to be as eco-friendly as possible, and use natural wrap, Kraft paper, twine and raffia. Our giftware consists of natural products which are produced by businesses who share our philosophies and everything we sell has been tried and tested by us!
